We will continue with our services in person at 9am & 11am with social distancing and safety precautions in place. Masks are not required but feel free to wear one if you prefer.
We are continuously looking for creative & fun ways to help people feel comfortable returning to live in-person services. We are now offering color wrist bands to wear to help people share what they prefer at this time socially.
Each wrist band shares our mission statement to "Love & Serve People To Life" as a reminder of our heart behind church.
Each color represents the following:
Green - High 5's & Hugs are great!
Yellow - Elbow bumps are preferred at this time!
Red - Waves & love you from a distance for now!
Along with the building being open for adult and middle school services, we are offering:
* Kids & Tots classes are open on Sundays!
If you are concerned about social distancing your child, you are free to bring them into service with you.
* Youth is meeting every Wednesday night at 6:30pm.
*Small Groups are taking place in-person and via Zoom, so make sure to check out which groups could be a good fit for you in this season!
* Clean Sober and Saved: Kicks off July 30th.
All are welcome and start time is 6:30pm at the church. It is never to late to jump in!
We are also continuing with all the great resources at our Church at Home page for those of you more comfortable watching at home.
Whether you come to live service or watch online, use this time to really pursue your relationship with God, and to be actively looking for ways to ‘BE’ the church, by loving on and serving those around you.
Together we can make a difference!

Update: April 22nd, 2020
Our Doors are OPENING!!
We’re excited to let you know you can participate in this weekend’s services in TWO ways. One way is online with our Church At Home page. But starting this weekend you can also join us for one of two LIVE services, at 9am and 11am in our Bradenton Campus only.
We’ve prayerfully been talking this through, and we feel this is the right time. We have full permission from our Governor and local officials so long as safety concerns are addressed.
- We will asking all families to sit 6 feet apart from other families
- We will not be shaking hands or hugging.
- We will be providing hand sanitizer upon entering facility.
- Due to the challenge of kids social distancing, we will not be providing Kids and Tots classes for this week only. Kids can join you in adult service and the Living Room will be available for you with service piped in if kids needs some wiggle room. Middle School will still be on!
- If you’re sick, please stay home and enjoy service online!
- If you are part of a vulnerable group please feel free to stay home and enjoy service from the safety of your home.
Whether online or in person, we look forward to seeing you this weekend!
UPDATE: APRIL 1st, 2020
We are so grateful that the church is NOT the building, but the church
is the people. As we worship and serve God, as we love on our
neighbors, we are BEING the church.
Due to heightened restrictions from our Governor as well as our local
Mayor’s office this week, we will be proceeding with Online services
ONLY for the time being. We are working now to bring you powerful
services that will include worship and a message to encourage you in
this season.
We will be streaming our services from our app and website Sunday at
9am, 11am, 1pm and 6pm. Facebook Live will continue at 11am.
Pastors Ralph & Joanne will also be doing a ‘Virtual Lobby’ after the
11am service on The Source Church Bradenton via Facebook Live.
Feel free to jump in, comment on service, ask for prayer or just say hi!
So grab your family and take this opportunity to do church as a family!
If you live alone, maybe invite a friend or two over to have church with
you. What a great chance to invite someone ‘to church’.
We encourage you to also take time to do ‘Kids Church’ with your kids,
using the videos and resources on our ‘Church At Home’ Page.
You can also give your tithes and offerings on our app or on our Church At
Home page at www.source.church.
Events have all been postponed, and each small group leader will be in
touch with you as to whether your group will meet in person, virtually,
or will pause until after this pandemic is over.
Use this opportunity to spread the word, invite friends to watch
services, and to share the good news with everyone you know that
God is still bigger than any virus, and HE has already put our victory in
motion.
There’s a good side to this …. The church has truly just left the
building! Let’s BE The Church through this like never before.
UPDATE: March 27th, 2020
John 16:33
“And everything I’ve taught you is so that the peace which is in me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in me. For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world!”
We are praying for our community and church family through these times, and pray for God’s protection and peace to be on you. While we pray and stand firm on God’s promises, we will also be using wisdom. We will remain open for live services this Sunday at 9 & 11 for those who simply need a place to come in person to experience God’s presence and find hope. We encourage you to stay home though if you have any hesitation at all, or are in a high risk group, including those that have been asked to quarantine.
Please refer to our last update to see why we are staying open. We are still daily watching updates in our county and from our governor and will keep you updated if we are asked to close.
All of the guidelines from our last update will be valid, including these new additional items:
- Our officials have asked that all those over the age of 65, and those who are at risk because of pre-existing conditions stay home. We encourage you to abide by that!
- If you or someone in your family have been sick or have been asked to be quarantined we ask that you watch safely from home!
- We have added a new page to our website called “Church At Home” where you can find all the links for online church that you need. Our live stream, Giving, Devotionals, and a newly added resource of full Video Church for your kids! As you watch church at home as a family, you can also now join your kids while they watch church just for them.
- We will be asking families to sit at least 6 feet apart from other families to honor the social distancing.
- Our Easter Community Day on April 11th is postponed
- Scheduled Baptisms and family park days are cancelled.
- The Worship Summit is being postponed. New dates are TBA.
WINNIPEG SERVICES UPDATE: Service will be Online Only starting March 29th.
This is a great chance to invite your neighbors and friends to watch services! There’s a lot of panic, and we want to assure them God loves them and wants to bring them peace through all of this. God is still way bigger than any pandemic the enemy may throw at us.
March 18th, 2020 Update:
John 16:33 The Voice
“In this world, you will be plagued with times of trouble, but you need not fear; I have triumphed over this corrupt world order.”
We are so grateful that we can operate in a trust, confidence and power in God that supersedes any global pandemic. This is a challenging time for the entire world, including the church. We are all dealing with situations that are completely unprecedented. But we believe it is also a time for the power of God to rise up in us and through us, and for us to BE the church.
What will church look like for us?
We have been closely monitoring all updates and restrictions. Last night we received an email directly from the White House in regards to Churches and Faith Communities directly. They are not prohibiting churches to gather for worship, but if they do gather, they are requesting that high safety measures are being taken, and above all to follow local authorities. We also were on a call today with Governor DeSantis, and he stated that he definitely doesn’t want to make churches close. But all agencies ARE asking that all OTHER gatherings be limited to 10 or less people for the next two weeks. In Winnipeg, they are being asked not to meet in groups of 50 people or more.
Every county in our country is being affected differently through this, and so are their responses. This week we reached out to our local commissioner and were told they are NOT directly asking churches to close. We want to strike the right balance of ‘Being’ the church in these times of crisis, and also honoring our officials.
As pastors across this nation make the tough decisions of how to move forward with church, we have prayerfully felt that we must continue to be a place for people to come to and worship in the middle of a crisis of global proportions, so our Sunday services will remain open, while our social events will be postponed for the next 15 days.
Here’s what that looks like:
- Sunday services will continue, with social distancing precautions encouraged. No hand shakes or hugs, and we will encourage people to sit spaced apart. We will have every person use hand sanitizer upon entering and will continue to sanitize our facility often. Offering will be collected in secure locations, and not passed during service.
- We will continue to make our services available by stream on our website, live.source.church, or at 11am on Facebook Live and encouraging people who are not comfortable coming out in person to join us online and share with their friends. What a great chance to have your friends and neighbors ‘come to church’ with you!!
- We are asking that if someone is sick, or your child is sick, that you stay home and watch our services online.
- If you are at high risk with your health or age, we invite you to stay home and watch from the safety of your home.
- Small groups will continue, with the exception of Wednesday groups on March 25th, because of the larger size of the groups. They will resume the following week.
- Youth Group will continue to minister to our youth on Wednesday nights, with safety precautions being closely utilized.
- Movie night March 20th and the Family Day in the Park March 29th are postponed.
- We will be partnering with the county in upcoming weeks to serve some vital needs in our community because of this pandemic. We will keep you posted. Let’s BE the church
- Please keep in touch with older members of our church, and let us know if any help is needed for yourself or another church member.
- In Winnipeg campus, please connect with Pastor Rosa directly to check on status of any scheduled events and small groups.
As we continue to pray an end to this pandemic, we are also grateful to be able to use wisdom in helping our nation defeat this and protect Americans.
Frequent this page often for any updates.
Pray for us as we navigate, lead and strive to minister to our community in this time. We truly believe this is a strategic time to introduce the Prince of Peace to a world that feels out of control.
Pastors Ralph & Joanne Hoehne
March 14th Update:
We have been following the Coronavirus updates and watching closely for restrictions and precautions needed for our specific community. The Governor has asked for ‘Mass Gatherings’ to cancel. CDC refers to Mass Gatherings as gatherings of over 1000 people. In abundance of caution, many places have taken the limit of 250 to be the same limit.
With two services as we currently run them, each service, with normal attendance, would be just under that 250 mark in each one. Because of staying in this safe limit, we will continue to have services unless restrictions increase even more.
We have now implemented the church as aa ‘no hand shaking’ zone. We can elbow bump, wave, or get creative in how we show our love for each other. Just no hand shakes!
We’ve taken many other precautions that you’ll find comfort in as you attend this weekends services.
The situation is moving and changing rapidly, and we are on top of it! Check back here for updates and any further changes that may need to happen.
What a unique opportunity we have to bring the power of God to a world that’s in fear and chaos.
Church Update - March 12, 2020
To our Source Church Family and Guests:
With the heightened awareness and public concerns regarding the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), as well as the ongoing seasonal flu virus and common cold, we want to assure you that we are carefully monitoring this situation at The Source Church and are taking a proactive approach to ensure our environments are clean, safe and that your health and well-being is a top priority. We do NOT operate out of a place of fear, but do believe in using wisdom.
At The Source we are very intentional about providing clean and safe environments. We have already enhanced our cleaning procedures. This includes a comprehensive cleaning of all high touch surfaces including doorknobs, toys, faucets, etc. Our Kids and Tots classrooms and toys are disinfected after services by our staff and volunteers. We are also providing hand sanitizers in visible places throughout our building.
We encourage you to wash your hands frequently, and cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue. Also, if you or your children are ill, please stay home and watch our services online.
At this time, we are following the guidelines of the CDC and the overall risk to the general public remains low.
We know this can be an anxious time for our community, and with so many people feeling the threat of the Coronavirus, I want to encourage you not to allow fear to overcome your feeling of security and safety. We have a unique opportunity to lean on God and trust His protection and care over us as we navigate each and every threat that would try to drive fear into our hearts. Instead, put faith in God’s promises as you navigate these waters:
Psalm 91:5-7: “You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.”
Let’s keep praying for the end to this virus!
